ACT ONE In the palace of Manikmantaka, a demon kingdom somewhere not far from Heaven. The king and his ministers are preparing to attack heaven for revenge of the death of the late king Niwatakawaca, killed at the gates of heaven he was attacking, by the human hero of Jawa, Arjuna. The demons go to war… Come brothers lets drink today tomorrow we go to war! Show me the way to the next whiskey bar Show me the way to the next whiskey bar ACT TWO In the village of Karang kedhempel Semar is unhappy because his children are quarelling all the time and also, there has been a theft! All the magical weapons of Arjuna have bee stolen and thus Jawa is no not properly protected. His children--Gareng, Petruk, and Bagong--fight all the time so Semar tries to make peace. Suddenly there is an earthquake and out comes Antaboga, the God of the Earth, with a young man who looks just like Arjuna, wanting to know who he is. Antaboga asks Semar and his sons to escort Wisanggeni to heaven to find out who he really is and why he was found in the sea with venomous bites in his neck. ACT THREE On the way to heaven, Wisanggeni and company are accosted by the army of Manikmantaka and they fight and win. They get to the gates of heaven and are not allowed in so they figh their way in and they win. In the end Wisanggeni fights Brahma and Brahma loses, then acknowledges that indeed Wisanggeni is Arjuna’s son from Dewi Badranala, so he is his grandson. It was Brahma who bit his neck, at the orders of Batara Guru. Wisanggeni finds Batara Guru and beats him up and saves his mother from being forced to marry Batara Guru’s youngest son, Dewasrani, who had stolen all Arjuna’s weapons in the hope of marrying Badranala and becoming the hero of Jawa. Go away go away Evil spirits go away Yes go away Time and Destruction go away! Evil in my head Evil in my limbs Evil that the eye can’t see Evil in throat Evil in my hairs Evil in my energy Go away now I command you! Go back to where you came from! THE END |
